Seven-time GRAMMY winning trio Lady Antebellum’s fifth studio album 747 is available on Sept 30. Nathan Champman co-produced the 14-song disc with Lady A for the Capitol Records Nashville release.

“We unanimously knew that our album title had to be 747,” said Hillary Scott. “The track itself has this pushin, driving spirit about it that sums up our attitude right now. We are pushing ourselves as a band and as songwriters…taking ourselves out of our comfort zone and not taking ourselves too seriously. There’s an urgency and an energy to it that we’ve never released before.”

“We are so ready to get this music out,” continued Charles Kelly. “To get the reaction we’ve gotten from ‘Bartender’ has only made us more fired up about the rest of these songs!”

“We’ve had the opportunity to write with some new songwriters and really dig for outside songs that were songs we wished we’d written,” added Dave Haywood. “As we took them into the studio, we changed our approach and challenged ourselves to try some new things that were outside of what we’d done before.”

new Lady A cd soars for me … Wow!! I am a big Lady A fan and have enjoyed almost all of their stuff since day one. And I have to say, I really LOVE this album a lot already. What is so unusual about it is that almost every song is immediately not only like-able but has you singing along by the end of it!The songs are original & fresh, but somehow seem like you have heard them before in terms of being VERY catchy. After only one listen through, I found that multiple tracks stayed in my head hours later. Immediate favorites for me are: Long Stretch of Love, Lie With Me, Down South, One Great Mystery, 747, Just A Girl. I was least impressed with: She Is and Sounded Good at the Time. I bought the deluxe edition to get the three extra songs and was glad I did since I liked two of them and absolutelyloved: Falling For You – it’s a gem.Just know that most of the songs on this new cd are not ballads, but are upbeat, energetic tunes. If you like Lady A, you will be happy with…
